Well, not really for weddings. People shun black as a color choice for family members attending a wedding, particularly mothers of the bride and groom, but consider some of the alternatives here people. Would you rather have your future MOL in hot pink? Safety cone orange? Flourescent yellow? Unless you have a penchant for a rainbow bright themed wedding, you probably would prefer black over any of those choices. So embrace it! It's slimming, classy enough for formal weddings, and looks great against any bride's gown.
Always bet on black..... :)
